Daniela was discovered by Dominique Caffin of the Madison modeling agency while in Prague and picked by Guess’ Paul Marciano to model in advertisements in the company’s history. Ellen Von Unwerth took the photos of Daniela, alongside Claudia Schiffer in Morocco. Daniela, who is fluent in Italian, Russian, French and Czech, but very little English, moved to New York. She started modeling sexy lingerie for Victoria’s Secret, as did her friends Stephanie Seymour, Tyra Banks and Yasmeen Ghauri. In 1995 and 1998, Daniela graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue.
