Denier
-Denier is a unit of weight used to measure the fineness of silk and man-made fibers, especially when woven into women’s tights.

Denim
- Denim is a rugged, wrap faced, twill weave cotton or blended fabric.
- The most popular color is blue followed by black and dark green. The warp is dyed blue or green with a white filling.
- As in jeans and jackets the heavier the weight, the more durable the fabric is.
- Twill weave cotton-like fabric made with different colored yarns in the wrap and weft.
- Denim is becoming popular in home and stores or booths decoration.
- Denim is also called ‘dungaree’.

Diamond neck
- A diamond-shaped cutout that fastens at the front or back neckline.

Dolman sleeve
- Cut as an extension of the bodice, the dolman sleeve is designed without a socket for the shoulder, creating a deep, wide armhole that reaches from the waist to a narrowed wrist.
